However, we all have some tips that are so good, we'd rather not post them publicly. Hence, the restricted area - limited to one individual per region (roughly defined as the area 95% of your customers are from). In this password-protected area, we can share our tips privately without concern that our local competition will pick up on them. Once someone from your region has been invited, nobody else in that region is permitted access.
For example, something I might share in this section would be my keyword list for Google's AdWords. While I would certainly not be comfortable sharing this with my local competition, I'm fine with sharing this list with a small, trusted group composed of members in remote areas.
Invitation to the restricted area happens when the community feels you have contributed significantly to our site. Here's how it works:
1. When you believe a member of our site has significantly contributed to our site, and he/she has gained your trust, PM me with a vote for that member. There's no limit to the number of votes, but the more votes you hand out, the more each of your votes gets diluted. Your vote is also weighted by your own reputation. The algorithm for determining your reputation is secret.
2. When any member has received a significant number of votes, he is granted access to the restricted area.
